Rockstar Showcases New GTAV Screens
| NEWS - VIDEOGAME NEWS |
Three new GTAV screenshots have been released yesterday, along with the three revealed on Monday.

Posted on Rockstar's official website under the title “Leisure”, the three new screenshots depict a variety of recreational activities avialable in the game – offroad motorbike racing, tennis, and paragliding. The screens released on Monday were of a similar nature, under the title “Transport” and showing cycling, driving and even flying a fighter jet plane.
Fans of the series were pleased with the return of cycling being a part of the game. The only GTA game with this feature was San Andreas and it was notably missing from GTAIV and its exstensive expansion packs.
The new trio of screenshots show some of the potential that the game has for fleshing out the world of San Andreas, presumably offering much more in terms of side-missions and even just casual gameplay.
Interestingly there are three blank sections to be filled in the GTAV screenshot gallery, meaning that we can probably expect there to be another release shortly. Due to the nature of the previous screens it would be safe to say that these new images would likely depict features which the player can interact with.
Another thing to note is that all of the screens released so far are in-game. It remains to be seen what platforms Rockstar will be running this game on, but if it is released on current gen consoles it is safe to say that it will push them to their technical limit.
Last month Take-Two stated during their first financial quarter call that “GTAV is in full development and making substantial progress.” With this in mind, it is possible that we might see a release sometime next year. However, since the current gen is coming to a close it is equally likely that we might see GTAV as a launch title for next generation platforms.
