It's two weeks past April Fool's, people ... this is actually happening!
Who: D20 Burlesque
What: A Burlesque Tribute to Joss Whedon
Where: The Parkside Lounge, 317 E. Houston Street (at Attorney), New York, NY
When: April 28th - first show at 9:30; second at 11:30

Initially, I suspected that this was an April Fool's joke - one of the ones that you wish were true. But this one actually is! D20 Burlesque, in their second year of nerdtastic fantasticool, has planned an entire show as a tribute to nerd icon Joss Whedon. D20 happens to be the premier burlesque group catering to the gamer community of New York City, and they perform monthly shows at the Parkside Lounge in Manhattan. Previous shows have included tributes to HP Lovecraft, zombies, computer and board games, and my favorite, "I Can Has Internet Memes?"
