I'm a bit tied-up at the moment...
Well, the latest clip to be sent to us from Joss Whedon's Avengers movie (The Avengers in the US, Avengers Assemble in the UK) certainly makes an impression and sends a message - whether you're into beefcake or cheesecake, there's nothing missing from the Marvel Studios buffet that we are eagerly expecting in cinemas shortly.
Did I read somewhere once that Joss Whedon spent quite a long spell in Europe once..?
Yes, I'm reasonably sure I did. Like you were going to see a Joss Whedon movie with no hot girls kicking ass - in costumes designed to a spare millimetre of the wrong rating. The current press handout straddles that fine feminist divide that keeps Joss and James (Cameron) up nights in their decades-long mission to adore and promote strong female characters without excessive...err...self-indulgence?
