The Dark Knight Rises trailer hits the web

NEWS - MOVIE NEWS

The Bat's in flight once more...

The Dark Knight Rises trailer is here...

It's rare that we get to post a trailer that's sure to please all. From the comic-book enthusiasts right through to the action-obsessed filmgoer, the first official trailer for The Dark Knight Rises - Christopher Nolan's sequel to 2008's award-winning The Dark Knight - holds something for all.

Encapsulating everything we've come to love in Nolan's Batman, the trailer teases use with visuals of Bane (Tom Hardy), Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and Bruce Wayne himself (Christian Bale), whilst staying true to the director's surrealistic quality.

So, rather than boring you with pointless text, why not sit back and enjoy the trailer for the upcoming 2012 blockbuster:

The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman, and is released on 20 July 2012.
