Pay whatever you want for the Humble Bundle 4
| NEWS - VIDEOGAME NEWS |
Get five great games for whatever price you like, and help charity too...

The Humble Indie Bundle is back! If you aren’t familiar with it already (and shame on you for not being), the Humble Indie Bundle is a pay-what-you-like charity event where some of the best Indie games are offered to raise money for a worthy cause.
This time the Bundle is really something too, purchasing it will net you: Jamestown, Bit.Trip Runner, Super Meat Boy, Shank and NightSky HD. Furthermore, due to its Humble tag-line, you - the gamer - pay whatever you see fit, or can afford...can’t say fairer than that, can you? However, if you choose to pay more than the average price (currently $5.36), you also get the marvelous Cave Story+ and Gratuitous Space Battles too.
Getting seven games for about £3.50 is enough reason to buy the Bundle right now, but don’t forget that your money will also fund a number of admirable causes. In this instance, the proceeds are set to be split between the charity's Child's Play and The American Red Cross.
But how much goes to each I hear you ask? Well, again, it's up to you - you can totally customise your split, choosing just how much money goes to the games developers, the charity’s or to Humble Inc, the makers of the Bundle.
And if seven great games, helping charity and paying what you like wasn’t enough for you then just wait. All the games are totally DRM free, come with Steam codes or downloadable links, and are available for Windows, Mac or Linux.
As for the games themselves, I've got no qualms. All are pretty great - some are even amazing - and being able to pay how much you like for just one of them would be something to get excited about.
Since its beginnings, The Humble Bundle has raised over $7 million in sales and donations, and this bundle looks to be helping that along nicely. At the time of writing, the current Bundle had raised $1,264,564 (and counting) with just 236,191 sales. Furthermore, there are still another 12 days left to buy the bundle, so don't be surprised if that amount jumps up a fair bit.
If you still need any convincing to go and buy this right now, here is a lovely video from Humble themselves showing you why you should add this to your collection immediately:
