Ah Victorian obesity, how you do make one laugh...

Whilst possessing a somewhat fleeting interest in all things Star Wars, I do sympathise with those forced to endure its saturation.
After having endured the eye-gouging prequels of The Phantom Meance, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith - and the questionable animated addition The Clone Wars - one would have thought that they - the fans - had suffered enough. Surely [George] Lucas was done milking the franchise with watered down add-ons? Well, as news of a full 3D re-releasing of all prequels shows, it would appear not...
Now I don't claim to know Star Wars - and I'm actually thankful for Jaa-Jaa Binks (though only because of the exasperated nature in which he is portrayed in Robot Chicken) - but I do know funny when I see it, and this one tickled me.
In recent years, the German term 'Doppelganger' has been used to connect one to a celebrity look-a-like, but it's original connotations are of a far darker origin. Put simply, a 'Doppelgänger' referred to a "paranormal double of a living person, typically representing evil or misfortune" 1.
While this image is void of either paranormal beings or celebrity endorsements, it serves a far greater purpose...it brings a light-hearted humour towards what, in recent years, has become a soured franchise. So, it is with great interest - and a beaming smile - that I present to you... the Jabba Doppelganger:
