Look out! Behind you! It's...a tree!
Hot on the heels of the news that Greg Nicotero will be co-executive producer of the show, and that a web series directed by him will premiere on amctv.com October 3, comes the release of the Season Two trailer for The Walking Dead. In it, we get to see our favorite Sheriff Grimes being tough and tormented, and quite a bit of Andrea's growth into a butt-kicking action hero. Go Andrea! The trailer also shows us lots more Darryl Dixon looking Dangerous, and Deputy Shane looking a little bit smarmy and a little bit tormented. That's a tough mix to pull off, y'all.
It looks like the character development is right on track; and that the recent Emmy for prosthetic special effects hasn't resulted in any slacking off by Nicotero's FX team. Some burning questions I can't wait to have answered: what did the doctor whisper in Sheriff Rick's ear? When will the luuuuuurve triangle come to light, and what will happen when it does? Counting down to the Season 2 premiere, October 16, 2011.
