5 YouTube experiences to brighten your week #10

From geek marriage proposals to motorway madness...

It seems like it is getting harder and harder to find educational, entertaining and original clips for this piece. Luckily however, I love a challenge – and the longer I spend searching for funny clips…the longer I spend watching funny clips. Win-win.
Here they are:
5. Epic rebuttal to Chris Brown
I don’t avidly follow celebrity gossip, or US culture for that matter, but this clip is a perfect example of the two colliding with enough comedy to catch my eye.
Thankfully the clip is pretty self explanatory, but it should leave you curious enough to check out the upcoming episodes of Red Eye with Greg Gutfield – the source of this clip.
4. A very unique proposal
This brief YouTube clip is adorable. A slightly nervous man proposes to his significant other at a comic convention, which is sweet enough if you’re into that scene. But what raises this above the plethora of ‘proposal clips’ online is the presence of the dashing Patrick Stewart.
It is perhaps the classiest proposal ever; at the very least it will leave you smiling.
3. 25 greatest unscripted scenes in films
We at Shadowlocked love our movies; we love to learn the trifling details that somehow add to the cinematic experience. Of course, you probably feel the same – so here is a clip for all you film fanatics.
I certainly was surprised to discover that many iconic scenes could be completely improvised.
2. The Handlebar Moustache Club
When I was young the only club I wanted to join was the Babysitters' Club. And no, I’m not embarrassed by that. However, now that I have learnt how to produce facial hair, I can’t hide my desire to join the ranks of the Handlebar Moustache Club.
I’m not too sure what this clip is, besides acting as a minute window into their bristly world of beer, bitter and…moustaches.
1. A guy fights injustice on the motorway
I cannot congratulate this fellow enough for his contribution to highlighting hypocrisy and flagrant disregard for others.
In the UK, and presumably many countries around the world, motorways have a lane reserved solely for emergency vehicles, or broken down cars. If there is an accident, in theory, the ambulance or fire engine can access the scene swiftly and safely. However, if the aforementioned accident causes a traffic jam some people tend to occupy this lane under the illusion that it will speed up their journey. Well, it doesn’t.
This clip showcases the arrogance of some and the disapproval of many.
