A new pirate pin-up enters the franchise...

I just created a macro to write out 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' when I click a button on my keyboard, because I don't seem ever to be able to spell it correctly. Since I copied and pasted the title directly from a PR mailout - and it was spelled incorrectly - I figure I'm not the only one to lazily resort to POTC4 when referring to the fourth outing of Jack Sparrow and company.

Anyway, here's a pic of the ever-engaging Penelope Cruz as new pirate-interest Angelica, daughter of Blackbeard and one-time disciple of arch-blackguard Jack Sparrow himself (Johnny Depp). The blurb on her character reads...

A woman who tells lies that are truths and truths that are lies, Angelica may or may not be the daughter of the feared Blackbeard himself. A master of disguises, she learned the art of the con from the best, one Captain Jack Sparrow. Sounds pretty sparky, and I'm guessing it won't end in domestic bliss for our favourite wasted seafarer...
