The Last Airbender, Shyamalan, "win" big at the Razzies

Nickelodeon animated series adaptation 2010's worst of the worst...

It's that time of the year again, when the best and brightest of Hollywood and beyond assemble to honor the greatest in cinematic achievement with those prized little golden statues of peer admiration. But before we can get to all that, another esteemed organization has its day (the day before, to be exact) to call out the laziest, most witless, and most artlessly-hollow film releases of the year. Tonight, the 31st annual Golden Raspberry award winners were announced, 'honoring' the worst in film directing, acting, and production.
The biggest 'loser' of the night was undoubtedly The Last Airbender, which took home five small gold-painted raspberry statuettes, including Worst Picture and Worst Director for M. Night Shyamalan. Perhaps making up for bestowing only a handful of nominations, but no wins, on Shyamalan's dreadful The Happening in 2008, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation may have hammered the final nail in Shyamalan's credibility coffin, completing his incredible arc from Hollywood prodigal son to critically-reviled hack in barely a decade's time. Airbender also became the first recipient of a brand-new Razzie category, that of the "Worst Eye-gouging Misuse of 3D". The film's dreary and blurry 3D conversion sparked a firestorm of harsh criticism by many in the media during its run, including yours truly.
Other Razzies went to Sex and the City 2 (which was second only to The Last Airbender with three Razzies), Ashton Kutcher, and Jessica Alba.

twilight: eclipse though wasn't as bad as the 2nd one though, that truely is a bad film
yogi bear? or is that 2011...
Honestly, while her performance was a little flat, she was hardly the worst actress of the bunch to sully the screen with their performance.
