Mark Iveson
My name is Mark, or Marky, as my friends call me. I was born in Gateshead, England, where I currently live. A lifelong horror movie buff, I first started writing film, music and theatre reviews for various work-related magazines. Since I branched out into article writing, I have contributed to the Glasgow-based vampire magazine BiteMe and provided non-movie-related articles to the Swiss-based Geneva Times. I also attend the Swanwick writers' retreat every year. My ambition is to publish my book. In addition to films and writing, I play acoustic guitar, bass guitar and mandolin for a folk/country band called Quozzymojo; I occasionally sing but it carries a health warning!
