Kristen Stewart chooses fairy tale over franchise
| NEWS - MOVIE NEWS |
Is anyone else thinking that the mirror is going to have a tough time choosing?

Kristen Stewart is having a big week. While filming an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's On the Road (picture below) she was reportedly considered for the part of Lois Lane playing opposite Henry Cavill's Superman. However, as Stewart is notoriously publicity-shy, Comic Book Movie reported that she 'wasn't ready to jump into another potential multi-film franchise'. Close on the heels of that decision, Entertainment Weekly announced today that she has been offered the part of Snow White in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman. Also rumored are Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen and Viggo Mortenson as the Huntsman.
While Snow White may not offer the opportunity for a multi-series franchise, it's a far cry from the indie movies Stewart has been making outside of the interminable Twilight movies. Adventureland, Welcome to the Rileys, The Runaways; all smaller-budget films in which she played alternatively a surly teen, a surly teen stripper, and a surly teen punk rock legend. Should the Snow White rumor come to pass let's hope that we don't get a surly teen fairy-tale princess.

2+ hours of Boswellian whining in Superman Returns made The Man Of Steel look even worse for having the faintest interest in her. When he was sky-stalking her you could almost hear him think 'Gee, I sure do miss back when you were Margot Kidder'.
