Matrix sequels a hoax?
| NEWS - MOVIE NEWS |
There is no spoon...

Be relieved or be disappointed. Take the red or the blue pill, and believe what you choose to believe. The latest twist down the rabbit warren throws up denials that Keanu Reeves ever said that there would be 3D sequels to The Matrix (1999).
BlogIndieWire report:
"We reached out to reps for the actor and were told that “none of it is true…he did not speak nor get an award from the from the London International School of Performing Arts.” So, chalk this one up to a fan hoax and nothing more."
Could this be disinformation or a genuine fan hoax (excuse the oxymoron)...? The issues about what to believe - or not - are amusingly linked in to the fake realities depicted in the Matrix trilogy.
But what a fecking relief, if it's true. Never in the history of sequels have I witnessed a genuine SF classic make such a rapid and committed disappearance up its own philosophical and marketing fundament as The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
That said, the shot depicted above would look good in 3D, wouldn't it...?
