There is still a spoon...

[Spoilers for The Matrix Revolutions]

While promoting his new film Henry’s Crime at the London International School of Performing Arts recently, Keanu Reeves let slip that two more Matrix sequels may be in store for us. The one known as “Neo” said he had met with the Wachowskis at Christmas, and that they have script treatments for two new installments into the sci-fi/action saga that revolutionized martial arts movies and just about every action film since.  They have intentions to make the films in 3D, and have met with James Cameron to learn the ropes of the medium.  Reeves says he’s excited to return as Neo, and that the new film “will truly revolutionize the action genre like the first Matrix film did”.

While I’m one of only a dozen people that liked the two Matrix sequels, I’m not sure whether or not this is a good idea, or how they plan to bring Neo back from the dead.  I do know I’m more excited about the news that there will be a third Bill & Ted film. How this all plays out, and if this film will be welcomed by the fans or rejected will have to be seen.
