Trent Reznor scoring Dragon Tattoo
| NEWS - MOVIE NEWS |
Trent Reznor officially the busiest man in Hollywood...

In the last four months, Trent Reznor has been in the news a lot. Ridiculously a lot. But there are worse things that could happen; for example, Celine Dion could be in the news a lot, so this is good.
In September 2010, the highly-regarded soundtrack for The Social Network was released, followed closely by a remastered release of the classic Pretty Hate Machine. He also announced that he would be working on a sci-fi series with HBO based on his 2007 release Year Zero. The score for The Social Network is one of the front runners for an Oscar nomination as well. Then came the announcement that Trent Reznor would be scoring the upcoming David Fincher film, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
If Reznor could take a film about overprivileged computer geeks at Harvard and create a potentially Oscar-winning score, what kind of awesome can he bring to the story of murder, torture, rape, and violence starring an industrial chick hacker ninja that could actually have attended NIN concerts regularly? It's the story that made a million soccer moms fans of Swedish noir. Maybe it will make them fans of industrial music too, or video games, or HBO sci-fi series. Gotta start somewhere!
