Rudd, Mann and Apatow Reconvene for a Knocked Up Spin-off
| NEWS - MOVIE NEWS |
Who gets knocked up in this one?

Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd, tertiary characters from 2007's Knocked Up, will reprise their roles in Judd Apatow's next venture, aimed for a 2012 release. The film, Apatow's first since 2009's Funny People, will bring back Mann and Rudd's supporting characters as the focus of the film. But rather than a prequel, reboot or reprise, the film will be more of a spin-off, as Get Him to the Greek was a spin-off of Russell Brand's character from Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Apatow's comedy street cred is second to none in Hollywood right now, and Mann and Rudd were responsible for some of the funniest scenes in Knocked Up, a very funny movie. Paul Rudd, high on mushrooms watching Cirque du Soleil in Vegas; Mann, fighting with the bouncer to get into a club where she doesn't belong? More please!
