A long time coming, but here at last is what ten years of Smallville have been leading up to...
There isn't very much to add to this newly released image for the upcoming final half of the last season of Smallville. Except to say that it's been a long time coming.
This image really channels the slit-scan title effects of Richard Donner's Superman (1978), which continues the respect that the series' creators have showed to the early movies, including the casting of the late Christopher Reeve as a guest character back in the early noughties. One look at this and you can just hear the low bass sounds of the John Williams theme...
