BBC unveils images from 'Shadows of the Vashta Nerada'

The Doctor returns to face a shadowy enemy in a new chapter for The Adventure Games...

Shadows of the Vashta Nerada unveiled

The BBC's Doctor Who website has shown new images from the Shadows of the Vashta Nerada chapter of The Doctor Who Adventure Games for PC and Mac.

Shadows sees the first return of the popular and extremely scary carnivore-shadows from season four's Silence In The LIbrary, and therefore this will be the first encounter that Matt Smith's Doctor has had with this particular foe. In this 'episode', the Doctor and Amy find themselves in the 23rd century just after The Great Flood of London, and the darkness holds some nastier secrets than usual...

The new chapter is executive-produced by Doctor Who show-runner and Vashta Nerada-creator Steven Moffat, and writer Phil Ford (Waters of Mars), and will be available simultaneously for PC and Mac (well done for that, Auntie!) from the Doctor Who website at Christmas. Since we Brits fund the BBC, we'll be able to download the new outing for nothing

Previous releases in the series are City of the Daleks, Blood of the Cybermen and TARDIS.
