And the geeks rule supreme, once again...

The National Board of Review, a nonprofit organization focused on film as art and entertainment, has named The Social Network their Best Film of 2010. Other awards for the semi-fictional Facebook origin story include Jesse Eisenberg, Best Actor; David Fincher, Best Director; and Aaron Sorkin, Best Adapted Screenplay.
Other interesting choices include The Town for Best Ensemble and Buried for Best Original Screenplay. They even have a 'Freedom of Expression' category. All this and no boring ceremony preempting prime-time TV programming? NBR rocks. See the complete list of winners at the NBR website here.
