Playstation Portable to start ‘pac-ing’ a punch...
Let’s just accept it shall we? Pac-Man and Space Invaders will always hold a certain untouchable status in gaming history, with their influence and commercial success meaning that everyone from video-game enthusiasts to agoraphobics will have at least experienced them in some form.
Now, according to the official PlayStation blog, Pac-Man Championship Edition — possibly the best Pac-Man game ever made — is to make its full PlayStation Portable debut, and I for one can’t wait. While I may have grown up physically, mentally I still have the disposition of my 11 year-old self, and the thought of another opportunity to play Pac-Man is worth writing about.
With mentions of time-limits, six different modes and unique mazes, the yellow full stop’s latest adventure is sure to be as captivating as its predecessors and will surely be a top seller for the Portable, just as it has been on Xbox Live Arcade.
So, if you have had enough of helicopter support, zombie attacks or even just modern game realism, go and join our friend Pac-Man for another one of his wacky, if not infectious, adventures.
