Cowboys & Aliens trailer finally gives 007 decent gadgetry

Here's a draw you ain't gonna win...
It's nice to see arguably the most lo-tech Bond ever finally get his hands on something straight out of Q's workshop, even if we had to exit the 007 franchise to see it. The new trailer for Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens (2011) shows Daniel Craig as a captured outlaw who, when alien spacecraft start cutting up the old West, seems to have an ace up his sleeve (literally) in the form of some very non-steam-driven Victorian-era technology - a cross between a pulse rifle and the same handy pop-out gizmo featured in Taxi Driver and ripped off in Alien: Resurrection.
