Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique in X-Men: First Class

A chance for Cameron fans to enjoy someone blue before Avatar 2 comes out...

In a semi-reported conversation, X-Men: First Class actress Jennifer Lawrence has talked of her conversion to the polymorphic Raven Darkholme, aka Mystique, as played in the previous three X-Men movies by Rebecca Romijn.
In a non-transcribed conversation with Jeff Wells at the weekend, the actress talked of the six hours needed to transform her into the younger incarnation of the character for Matthew Vaughn's 2011 prequel. Lawrence notes that only during 10% of her screen-time will she be seen in the native form of the blue-skinned shape-shifter - presumably the rest is occupied by Mystique's impersonations (who will be other actors or actresses) or a pre-mutant Darkholme.
Her appearance is to be kept under wrap as much as possible until just before the film's release, but Lawrence did not give too much away about how closely the younger version of Mystique will adhere to the extensive full-body make-up that Rebecca Romijn endured for the previous movies. Apparently the blue make-up smells very bad indeed, prompting the on-set moniker 'mistink' (Miss Stink...?).
