A freelance journalist and a 2:1 Journalism and Media graduate from Worcester University, Luke’s love for sci-fi has been a long and ongoing battle. For years he lived in denial, until a two day binge on his father’s Star Trek: The Next Generation collection turned him to the dark side. Despite only working on a freelance basis since 2009, Luke has written for a number of local and national papers, magazines and now writes regularly for sport.co.uk. From hard-hitting features to celebrity featured interviews, Luke has worked extensively in a number of different fields of journalism, and is currently involved in establishing himself at a broadcast level.

He cites Luc Besson as his director of choice and Besson's masterpiece Léon as his top film, but has a secret, undeniable love for his childhood favourite, The Never Ending Story.
