EA scale big titles down for the Apple generation

Dead Space in a (very) small space...

It was only a matter of time but it looks like EA are going to be the first to try and stamp their authority on a rather ambiguous market.
EA have today revealed a horde of new games, many of which will be based on a number of their top sellers, designed specifically for the Apple I-revolution. The iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad can look forward to some of EA’s best titles, including Dead Space 2, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Monopoly and Reckless Racing.
Due for release in December, Dead Space 2 intends to nestle between its pre-established console brethren, essentially making it Dead Space 1.5. Apart from the rumored inclusion of gesture-based dismemberment and a veer away from the controls of Dead Space Extraction, very little is known.
Either way, this is certainly an exciting adventure; I wonder if the I-generation could ever mount a serious challenge on console gaming? Food for thought I suppose...
