Tom Hardy for Batman 3

Inception continues to prove a casting-call for the next episode of the Nolan Batman adventures...
Ever loyal to actors he has a good experience with, Christopher Nolan adds another Inception star to the casting of the as-yet untitled Batman 3 project. Tom Hardy joins fellow Inception actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt for the follow-up to The Dark Knight. As usual, we haven't a clue who Hardy will be in the Batman universe, though First Showing are convinced he'll be a villain. Bit stocky for the Riddler maybe. And to boot, we don't even know who the villain is yet.
We are likely to be going through a lot more blind casting frenzies before the real announcements begin, and the actors finally get associated with specific roles. And you can bet your bottom dollar that any really glam actress cast in the film will be announced last of all, because at that point Nolan will either have to say that she is or isn't going to be Catwoman, thus revealing whether the ambiguous heroine/villain will make a showing in the caped crusader's world.
