Today's launch of an official site for Paranormal Activity 2 brings with it the official trailer. Watch and see...
Anyone who has seen the very enjoyable Paranormal Activity (2009) will already be aware that it is hard to put this style of film into any meaningful kind of trailer. The $15,000 film that raked in $150 milllion for Paramount was like space travel - long stretches of boredom followed by moments of utter terror. But without the boredom, there'd have been no terror.
Let's hope that the sequel to a film which channels so much both the style and box-office legacy of The Blair Witch Project (1999) doesn't turn out to be the dross that Blair Witch endured as a second cinematic outing.
