Doctor Who: Vampires Of Venice synopsis released

The Beeb reveal the ghastly forces heading the Doc's way...
The BBC press office has released a synopsis of episode number No.6 in season 5 of Doctor Who, which will follow the two-parter "The Time Of Angels / Flesh And Stone'.
Vampires Of Venice is outlined by Auntie thus:
Dessicated corpses, terror in the canal and a visit to the sinister House of Calvierri – the Doctor takes Amy and Rory for a romantic mini-break, as the Tardis touches down once again.
But 17th-century Venice is not as it should be. The city has been sealed to protect it from the Plague, although Rosanna Calvierri may have other plans...
The cast list detailed so far includes Rory Williams, Helen McCrory, Elizabeth Croft, Alex Price, Simon Gregor, Lucian Msamati, Alisha Bailey and Michael Percival.
Following up the presumably chilling return of the quantum-locked weeping angels with a vampire story reveals what many had suspected about Who producer Steven Moffat's first season - that it wouldn't be lacking in the horror he loved so much about Doctor Who in the 1970s.
