The Karate Kid meets Harry Potter this summer...
Underneath is a new poster for The Sorcerer's Apprentice, courtesy of ComingSoon.
In The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Nic Cage plays Balthazar Blake, a modern-day wizard situated in Manhattan, and up against personal nemesis Maxim Horvath - the first real villain for the excellent English actor Alfred Molina since his star turn as Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2.
Naturally, we're talking about a bunch of old guys here, so in comes the titular apprentice played by Jay Baruchel, ready to receive a Karate Kid-style crash course in wizardry.
Wow, this is ticking all the boxes so far, isn't it? Make Molina a vampire and you're done...
